A lovely relic from the Salvation Army — a DuMont set probably produced some time between 1958 and 1963 (judging from the  inclusion of a city postal zone code, rather than a ZIP code, in the Emerson Radio address), which is still in working condition.  Considering how much stuff we’ve thrown out as of late, it’s heartening to think that some things might persist from generation to generation.
