Jennifer and I instantly regretted skipping out on UC’s homecoming festivities this weekend, if only because we missed this delightfully strange moment: our devilishly cute, anthropomorphized Bearcat mascot coming face-to-face with Lucy, the much more feral-looking, honest-to-goodness bearcat, who certainly would’ve torn its simulacrum to shreds if it weren’t heavily tranquilized.
